CIMCO was established in 2005 in the British Virgin Islands as an independent investment management company by CIMCO´s principals who have over 50 years of combined investment banking and trading experience at some of the world’s major financial institutions. The common goal which has driven the principals to create CIMCO has been to create an impartial and independent boutique investment firm leveraging off the management’s experience. It has been the philosophy from the beginning to not only outperform comparable benchmarks but to achieve stable positive returns under all market conditions. A key element of our philosophy is to provide investors with regular direct access to management and their deep knowledge of their respective markets, not normally available in other investment firms. CIMCO today offers a wide spectrum of Funds with an investment focus ranging from the most liquid mainstream markets such as our CSF Global Macro fund to opportunity specific alternative investments such as the Cuban Trade Finance Fund, allowing our clients to spread their risk and lower the volatility of their returns. |
